Education:
B.A. with honors in Business Economics from The College of Wooster and
a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Akron. Continuing
education courses in all areas of taxation, accounting and management
advisory services.
Professional Organizations:
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Ohio Society of
Certified Public Accountants.
Experience:
Started in public accounting in 1987 with an Akron based CPA firm, Petty,
Myers and Petty. In 1992 started a local CPA practice in Wooster, Ohio
with Cathy Cook and John P. Cook, Ph.D., CPA. Experience includes a variety
of accounting, auditing, tax planning, and business consulting services.
Community Activity:
Participated two years in the Junior Achievement program providing classroom
instruction regarding government and community to local elementary students.
Member of the Orrville Kiwanis Club. Member of the Board of Directors
of Learn N Play of Wooster.
